The COVID difficulty in bigger places argument is BS IMO. Reason is from experience. I work for an organization where 80% of the employees live and work in 2 of the counties in the top 10 of largest COVID issues in the state of TX. Of the 960ish employees we have had 11 positive tests with only 1 person being hospitalized. We focused on making sure EE's had what they needed in both information, and at work the PPE and cleaning supplies needed(we also helped when possible with what they needed for home -tougher at the start but not hard presently). And talked the precautions up regularly. So, with proper protocols, information, and oversight, COVID should not be that big of an issue for a sports team, supposedly in a "bubble", unless the personnel decide to say the hell with this I am doing what I want.
