when they say a movies sucks, then go see it. It will be good. Every damn time.

Rotten Tomatoes or one of those sites gave the Lion King bad reviews. I liked it. Thought it was funny at times, compelling, good fight scenes, and adventurous. Some kids even cried during the movie.

The way Disney did this with animation is really cool.

Don't trust the movies critics. Just about every time they say a movie sucks, I like it.

When are you going to provide your review on The Little Mermaid?

I've slacked off over the last few weeks and haven't seen Lion King or Tarantino's/Pitt's/DiCaprio's new one, but I usually agree with the experts on Rotten Tomato. That's not to say I don't enjoy a cheesy comedy or flick made just for action/entertainment.

I tend to agree with the experts more than the audience on Rotten Tomato. The audience gave Mary Poppins a very average score and the experts really liked it. Along the lines of Lion King, I love the Cars and Toy Story movies. I saw Toy Story opening night about a month ago and thought it was great, just like all of their other ones. Disney simply has the recipe on making really good movies.

I agree.

I'm excited for "The Irishman" on Netflix. Martin Scorsese, Pacino, De Niro, Joe Pesci, Anna Paquin, Harvey Keitel . . . should be a solid Mob movie.

In a few weeks, "American Factory" comes out on Netflix. It has ratings over 90% on Rotten Tomato. It's about a shuttered GM factory in Ohio that a Chinese billionaire buys for his company. It highlights, in drama and comedy, how 2000 blue collar Americans from the rust-belt don't mix with Chinese technology.

Don't hold it against the film, but Obama's production company owns the movie, I believe, but it's supposed to be a really good and entertaining documentary that supports blue collar and commoners.

I don't hold entertainers music or acting against them. I only get mad at their comments politically. Or when they go off the deep end. I respect what they do which is act, sing, etc. Disney is a pretty liberal company yet they are a business icon and their customer service and products are exceptional.
