Kim Jong-il agreed to ending their nuclear weapons program during the Clinton Administration, and promised to renew friendly relations with the South, and that turned out to be bullshit. Which is why I am not celebrating a thing until it really is a done deal.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kim Jong-un is sincere and scraps their nukes, and I wouldn't be shocked if he nuked Seoul. That's just how it is.

His deal is with a nutcase is going to fall through and another US ally will be added to the long list of those Trump has ruined relationships with.

We can always restart the exercises, but I imagine the South Koreans are rather pissed right now. Even if NK actually got rid of its nukes they still have enough conventional firepower to kill up to 100k people in Seoul in one day.
