We have a several states that are torn up from this hurricane. There are 40 counties in the state I live in torn all to shit. Floods, trees everywhere. No power, no water. Same for GA, SC, Florida, TN, parts of VA.

Help people here first.

This is the region of people that you said would kick the ass of people from California, New York, Seattle, Chicago, etc. in a civil war, right?

Yet you need help from us because you have some trees down and no electricity?

I’m confused.

Have you seen the floods?

And what I have said is the cities would be screwed in a civil war.

Because they can't do things like cut trees and get through without electricity. So tell me about the downed trees and no electricity in that region?

A couple days ago, a large tree fell across a main road here blocking traffic and taking out power lines on both sides. Traffic was blocked (including me) and a number of locals wanted to get their chain saws and cut up the tree. State Road officials on the scene refused because we had to wait for “professionals” to do the work. Waited 14 hours.

Why don't you guys eat a bag of dicks. They are not managing the climate correctly. All in the name of gas cars and fossil fuel plants. You have to limit emissions and have carbon capture as well. So, yehh suck one. They don't have a healthy climate situation going on. Because they are not managing it correctly.

Exactly what climate scientists have told me. You have to manage the damn climate.

Whew that was a deep pull

That wouldn't have changed a damn thing.

you'll know they're serious about it when they start building nuclear power plants and quit flying private around the globe.

* though I think his post is a riff on the California wildfires and wild land management maybe?*

I presume these folks would have been helpful about now, correct? Though I don’t know, maybe some are trained for battle and others for natural disasters and they’re different crews? I don’t know.

By overpopulating the US.

Great logic.
Hey now we’re the party of abortions! We’re working on the overpopulation thing!

That wouldn't have changed a damn thing.

More blood on the hands of Meatball Ron and Republican policies.

The sanctuary Florida provides for fossil fuels kills more American citizens.

Republicans, their policies and their bleaters are destroying our country and citizens

People in the cities wouldn't do that. They don't care about authority. They would do it on their own, unlike people in the sticks, who are too lazy to do it themselves and too scared to defy authority.

A
You can't change a shower head.
I can, I just choose to eat caviar in first-class with my time instead of spending it on manual labor.

I'm serious here - these deplorables who you claim would beat Democrats and city folk in a civil war need help due to trees being down, flooding, and no electricity? Don't you all have the boats, the weapons, and the ability to live off the land and survive without the things we have?

People in the city, if faced with the same situation, would whine and cry and wonder why some agency hadn’t solved their problem. As usual, a handful would riot, steal, and start burning down businesses. Might even take a few chain saws, but they wouldnt know how to use them. Probably cut off a finger, whine because medical attention was too slow then sue the business for leaving saws out where they could steal them.

Cons would claim the weather is rigged against them. And then rebuild on the same property.

Why yes, without that Ukraine support the entire region would have been fixed within 24 hours.

Absolutely we'd kick your ass. You don't bring dirt rocks and electric cars into war. Your offended asses would throw up a white flag in seconds.

Natural disasters are quite different than war, but I'm sure you knew that.

Apparently you don't live far enough out in the sticks if DOH beat you to the scene.

When I lived in very rural WV, I never saw DOH clear trees off the road. It was always the locals or the fire department.

They were clearing the last of the damage away when I drove by today. State Road truck, loader and driver, two flagmen, and four helpers.

How? The intelligent ones (that's us) would bomb/hack your dams, destroy your bridges/roads, crush your power, and leave you in the situation most of those places are in now. Yet you want help instead of doing it yourselves.

Haha.

I remember one particular bad storm in Barbour County, I went out on the four wheeler with a chainsaw to look at the damage, saw signs of an unreported tornado near Moats Falls (seriously), and there was the VFD clearing the road. Never saw DOH.
