Seems like the fomer General sits on the board of a company that profits from selling the govt housing on the border that houses migrants. Gee, a vested interest there hugggh General? Guess you don't want the border tightened up.

Oh, it gets even better General. Your company also houses children. There are 300,000 children missing from the migrant influx. Guess you inventory and monitoring these kids is not so good is. Investigations my be bad and liability is a tough thing.

Hitting the ground running!

It is Halloween again. My first Halloween in my house, I had one kid. One. A little girl dressed as a witch or maybe a witch dressed like a little girl. You can never be sure. I didn’t even realize what day it was so I had nothing to give her. I finally found a week old apple in the frig. The very worst treat you can give a kid.

That was decades ago and even though I now buy a bag of candy every year to hand out, I have never had another kid come to the door. I keep telling myself it is because I live in a dark inaccessible area where the houses are far apart, but there is a part of me that believes the witch-kid cursed me. Handing out an apple, I probably deserve it.

Anyone know when single game tickets go on sale? I can call the ticket office once they open but I went to herdzone and looked. TBH that website is terrible. I couldn’t find anything. Still trying to get season ticket buyers I guess. I must have missed this earlier that all season tickets in the Henderson Center now have to be a Big Green member. 🤷‍♂️

I remember months ago it was announced that Marshall had partnered with a business that worked on behalf of the University to secure NIL deals for their athletes. Has anyone seen any NIL deals for Marshall athletes? I read about them every day at other institutions and it appears to me Marshall is behind on the times.
How about a business like Glenns Sporting Goods? Glenns has a deal in place with the University to sell Marshall products. Glenns makes a profit off the sale of these products. Marshall receives a profit when Glenns sells Marshall gear. I would think the student athlete should figure into the equation as well and make some money. I thought that was what NIL was about.

But, any of you know of a beverage store between Morgantown and FayetteNam, WV that sells WV craft beers? Small shop in Fayetteville does, but hate paying high prices for beers that are out of date with dust covering the top of the cans. Figure Kroger or Walmart are my options, and maybe Sheetz.

I noticed this morning while picking up a few groceries that store parking lots are filthy. Gum, cigarette butts, wrappers, and general dirt. Don’t they ever steam clean those areas?

I read an article yesterday that WV is one of a handful of states that still allows pedophiles to hand out Halloween candy. Seems a bill was drafted to end that practice but went nowhere. Our leaders in Charleston are really looking out for the general welfare of the citizens.

I’m spending the morning going through my file cabinet and updating a lot of the material. Unfortunately, I’m one of those people who keep everything. Neatly. Do I really need the instruction manual for the gasoline weed eater I threw away seven years ago? That is all.

And we really need to get somebody to get him to stop saying "Marshall for all, Marshall forever!" It's incredibly tacky. Marshall is a smaller state school with below average academics in a shitty state. "Marshall for all, Marshall forever" sounds like some sort of war cry to rally up the troops. There is a reason why half of the graduates leave the state and the other half go back to their hollers to pop out five children, become a cashier at Dollar Tree, and wait for their monthly check that people like me pay taxes for.
