We struggled with Albany. The funny thing was the line moved towards Albany 3 points by kickoff from 24.5 to 21.5. Vegas and the bettors knew what was about to happen. Now the line for ECU opened with Herd -1 and has already moved to -3. Considering we barely beat an FCS team, and ECU held Michigan to 30 points, you'd think this would open as ECU by a TD. If you are a betting man, put your house on the Herd.

The Sun Belt Conference, in conjunction with ESPN, announced that a pair of Week 4 non-conference home games have been elevated to ESPN linear networks.

The Virginia Tech at Marshall game on Saturday, Sept. 23, has been elevated to ESPN2 at 12:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. CT. The meeting will be the Hokies first trip to Huntington since 2011.

The Western Kentucky at Troy game on Saturday, Sept. 23, has been elevated to ESPNU at 12:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. CT. The matchup will be the Trojans first 12:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. CT home kickoff since 2002. Troy defeated the Hilltoppers, 34-27, in Bowling Green in 2022.
