from the AD touting the accomplishments of the fall sports that noted that this will be our 7th consecutive bowl appearance?

It was a shame they had a mistake In that. But by all means, great job missing all of the positivity in the email and focus on that. Keep up the great work sir

Not just 2016, we also didn't go to a bowl in 2012. So that's only 6 of 8. John has gone to 7 overall, but not seven in a row.

It's a marketing email - a zero-cost fundraising poke right before the bowl game, hoping to snag some extra dollars from people who have too many dollars.

It's an error, but eff it, let's pretend its true - it's just saying "seven non-losing seasons." If that gets your heart racing, you're gonna love being a Herd fan.

As an extremely successful Fall season comes to an end, we are pleased to say our student-athletes had a great semester both on the field and in the classroom. Not only have they accomplished great things as a team, but have also excelled individually. Through 4 sports (W. Soccer, M. Soccer, Football and Volleyball) our student-athletes and coaches have brought in 51 individual accolades, both athletically and academically.

Herd Volleyball finished the season 18-10, earned the #4 seed in the conference tournament and brought in 3 individual awards following the season.

Football finished the regular season 8-4, heads to Tampa for the 2019 Gasparilla Bowl Monday, December 23rd (their 7th straight bowl appearance) and brought in 15 individual accolades, including Conference USA MVP (Knox) and Special Teams Player of the Year (Rohrwasser).

Men's Soccer finished the season ranked #11 in the nation with a 16-3-3 record. The Herd was both C-USA Regular Season and C-USA Tournament Champions and hosted their first ever regional game where they defeated WVU 2-1. Men's Soccer players and coaches brought in 22 athletic accolades and 7 academic accolades, including the programs first United Soccer Coaches All-American (Yosef) and Scholar All-American (Osmanu).

Herdman showing even when MU tries to promote itself in a positive light, he sh*ts on it.

Yet he'll complain about the lack of positive promoting MU does...

It's par for the course, as are the grammatical errors in another Marshall release.

I'm guessing the athletic department reduces costs by using some of the numerous non-qualifiers Marshall football signs to write the email newsletters.

What a pathetically disappointing statement.

Nah, most the ones they sign don't show up so they couldn't be writing stuff.
