I'm not familiar with any of these particular cases, but like we've discussed on here before I don't understand why colleges do hearings on sexual assault. Just let the courts handle it and when the verdict comes down then make your call.
It's one thing to have ethics hearing if someone cheated on a test or conducted themselves in an unbecoming (?but still legal?) manner...but a criminal act like sexual assault - shouldn't that be handled by the courts?
What am I missing here other than bloated college administrators justifying their positions/salaries by creating some bogus "court hearing" system(s)?
