1)They drug out the Speaker vote and got it done , middle of the night on Jan 7. Because of that it tied up the capital so , the Dems couldn't cry and sob and make an overblown theatrical display of the Jan 6 date? They knew McCarthy was barely going to win, regardless. So, did they drag it out?

2) Because of the new rules, Democrats, just like Republicans can bring their proposals for spending and bills forward, openly. That was not allowed under Pelosi. Even for Dems. Now we can see some of the outalndish crap some of these weirdos on the left will come out with.

How so? What did it really effect? Nothing. It got rid of a lot of the rules the Dems had put in place, particuarly Pelosi. It put back on the rules the way the House used to be and tries to put an end to Dec 24 1.7 trillion omnibous spending bills that nobody reads.
