Anything other than 13-0 = what another poster has described as a “shit bowl” (not my words, I’m proud of this team, I remember when we did not have one). Knew that going into the season. Every one, save the First Responders Bowl, moved from the ancient Cotton Bowl Stadium to SMU; is against a G5 school. The theoretical P5 would be the 7th place team in the Big 12, which that woeful league is not going to produce 7 6 win teams and, no, there is no way on earth it would be WVU.

One is the same as the next. Bahamas. Awesome.

Eventually we have to "take our turn" in the Bahamas soccer stadium in front of 500 fans... If we don't make the CUSA championship game it might as well be this year.

This "take your turn" approach is BS. The Bahamas Bowl should either go to a school that requests it or the last eligible CUSA team.

I also question if the island will be able to host the game this year. Yes, I know that it's been announced it will be played as scheduled but given the extent of devastation, one has to question if it will happen.

Then again, given that devastation, this might be the last year for the game. So if MU ends the season bowl eligible, I think they should try to avoid it again.

What exactly is the preference of bowl games for CUSA?
Obviously there's a select amount of bowls to choose from but do the teams get to select or what?

In my mind, and I may very well be wrong, but dont we travel far too well to be relegated to the Bahamas Bowl?

Attendance for the shit bowls is somewhat irrelevant. They know these bowls aren't drawing a huge crowd, but that's not where they make the money. Now it's all made on tv advertising.

How many Marshall fans traveled to Albuquerque?

Or a better question might be, How many Marshall fans would travel to the Bahamas? Or to say Texas for a bowl game?

There is no devastation on Nassau. Vacationing in Atlantis right now and this island was completely spared of major damage. The hurricane avoided the island and instead hit several islands much further north.
