Ever get called boss?

What's this boss business? Is that a sign that I'm getting old? Somebody at Burger King and now somebody else while I was sitting outside watching the clouds walks up and calls me boss.

What's boss? It makes me feel like I'm Tony LaRussa sitting in the dugout, old and peering out among a field of younger, dumber people. I think it's all right.

As far as actually ever being a boss, forget that.

I think it's from acting old. Always wanted to be old. Old seems smart and closer to being finished. I can't think of anything I value much more than that.
