to be fair it was our first tourney win since it began in 2006 (best previous finish was 4th in 2009). speaking just in WBC terms, the Japanese rule baseball. they have 4 medals (2 gold). Puerto Rico has 2 silvers. we have 1 medal...
And to still be fair we don't put our best on the field. Harper, Trout, and very little of our top pitchers play
