Hope they find it before all parrish. In all seriousness. That has to be the scariest shit for all 5 occupants. Knowing appx. When o2 runs out at 3 miles down.

Nope they are fish food. Best case the lost pressure and it was quick or the will run out of o2 and go to sleep and not wake up

Killed by irony.

James Cameron has told some pretty crazy stories about being in his experimental sub in the Mariana Trench & things going wrong.

So this fvcking thing just goes out on its own without any additional support vessels?

Maybe the ghosts of the Titanic are tired of people fvcking with their resting place.

No it doesn’t just go out on it’s own. It has a “mother ship” that its somewhat in communication with while beneath the surface and that takes it where it needs to be. Having a submarine that’s capable enough to travel on it own from Canada to the titanic Is the stuff of navies

I think what he meant was they didn't have another underwater companion ship. Heard that on the radio this morning. It went under by itself.

A support vessel is usually a surface ship not a submersible. The technology needed to get down that deep isn’t cheap( insert that’s what she said joke here). It’s not uncommon at all for them to go down by itself

I think it has pretty much been a recovery mission from the beginning.
Especially with the sun reportedly being stuck in the debris field. The search area is the size of Connecticut. Good luck finding the sun much less being able to bring it up.

The Navy did send in a salvage vessel that is capable of extracting objects from depths deeper than the Titanic.

Taken by aliens. Haven’t you seen the footage of the ships that come out of the water and dive back in?

I really hope they know more than what they are telling us with the announcement about the banging noises.

Just saw some footage of an interview with the guy heading the expedition. He ordered some parts from Camping World and had what looked like a Ninentdo Controller or XBox Controller. No dual reduntant systems or backup systems.

No thanks. Thing is going down 13,000 feet in the North Atlantic?

R U NUTS?

It was a Logitech knockoff of an Xbox controller.

Apparently one of the search teams posted and deleted a message on their website that their focus was on the families and their tragic loss.

They have found debris of the sub. 1600 ft from the Titanic wreckage. Appears to be a pressure chamber loss. Catastrophic failure. Families have been notified.

That means a probable quick death which is one of the better outcomes.

Even had we found it this morning intact and with some oxygen I don’t think we had any way to pull it back up.

At least one of the salvage ships would have been able to bring it up, timing was a bigger issue.

The ceo said he didn’t want naval submariners on his team because 50 year old white guys don’t inspire people. Well guess what dipshit those 50 year old white guys know about being deep under the ocean.

That guy is a dipshit. This is what woke bullshit gets you. Dead at the bottom of the sea because you are a dipshit. Get the best people.

I mean he went and hired 30 year old white guys instead so it was less “woke” and more “techbro.”

Based on the depth the sub would’ve compressed in about a millisecond. During that time the temperature would've risen to about 20k degrees and the oxygen (and organic matter) in the sub would've spontaneously combusted. Or turned into plasma I guess.

That’s all to say that they probably had no idea something was wrong till they were dead, and also there aren’t bodies to recover, or body parts even.

Those guys would not have stepped foot on that piece of shit, and would have told him he was a damn fool.
