Emphasis....particular prominence given (as to a syllable in speaking or to a phase of action). Since I am not speaking to you face to face...I use symbols that are BOLD, ITALICS, UNDERLINE, text color, font size [to make my point]........surly you know what the symbols above are for.....Keyboarding 101.....
