Speaking of, I have a 54' x 20' deck. I had a dumb, but strong type kid power wash it and get it prepared to stain. It's to big to do every couple years. What's the best seal for it? Every review I've read about the major brands have a 50/50 love hate. I really don't want to do this project twice.

I am going to go ahead and "like" your post just because of the effort you put into it. And I also feel bad that you have over 3000 posts, and I don't recognize your name which means you contribute nothing of value to the board.
What you fail to understand is that the things I do would be talked about ten times more by others on here if they could experience them. Taking a cruise? Most people will mention it on here. Me? I rarely post about it on here or on Facebook. Going to the beach? Many people will talk about a great meal they had or somebody they met at the beach. I live where you vacation, so I don't talk about it. If somebody were to run into somebody of note, they talk about it on here (like the person a couple of months ago who mentioned running into Darryl Strawberry at the airport). That happens for me multiple times in a week, yet I don't post about it. Getting your own PJ to travel about once a month? People would talk about the experience on here. I don't since it is common. Without exaggerating, I may talk about 1 out of every 50 times something happens that others on here would post about it.
The post GK made about Chip and Joanna Gaines- yeah, since I had just met them within the last two weeks and will be touring their places Tuesday, I mentioned it. It wasn't like I was boasting about having an intimate dinner with them and their invite to me for a 3-some. I even referenced a quick introduction and observation of them.

That's the same thing I had to dumb down for BC to understand after he made numerous comments about me "chasing down celebrities for picture opportunities." In reality, I probably have a picture with no more than 1 out of every 4 celebrities I am with or meet (case in point, none with the Gaines', Lance Armstrong, Bono - at least that night, Kirk Franklin, etc.). The only one I took that night with my camera was with The Lumineers . . . and that was only because when I was coming out of their dressing room, the security guards asked to take a picture with me . . . I was talking to them for 10 minutes while the band showered after their set. They worked at Cowboys Stadium and when I came out, they thought I was Jason Witten (which makes no sense considering he is 3'-4' taller than me and 40 lbs. more than me, but it also happened multiple times when I was at North Texas). They asked to take a picture with me, explained they knew I looked familiar, but they didn't put 2+2 together because they didn't think "I" (Witten) would be there. Instead of making them feel even more awkward, I just took the picture not knowing who they thought I was (the last time it happened I was in Buffalo and people thought I was kicker Dan Carpenter). After, one of them put out his hand and said "here, I'll take a picture of you guys." When I left, they said "nice meeting you, Jason. Good luck this year."
It's the same thing with my stories. If 25% of my nights are with celebrities, yet I only talk about 1% of them, you think it is boasting. In reality, I talk about my experiences far, far lower than the number that I have and far, far lower than anybody else on here would talk about.

Watching TV and arguing in person would be something unusual. I haven't watched TV in about 2 years, and the last time I argued with someone in person was 4-5 years ago, lasted about 20 seconds and we apologized to each other and ended it with a hug.

I don't go around telling you (or anyone) how great my life is. I get mocked on here far more than anyone else (besides what I do to Fever, which is the culmination of a lot of incidents). It was even worse when the smack board was around. As a result, I challenge people to back up their jabs at me. When they continue their jabs, I post proof to specifically refute their repeated jabs.
It's similar to what I explained earlier: if any of you had just one of the incidents I have multiple times each week, you'd all be posting, "hey, I had a cool experience the other night . . . "
But, since it is so common for me, I rarely post about my experiences. For instance, assume The Lumineers invited you to their show with U2. They asked if you preferred sitting in a luxury box, being closer to the stage, or being on the floor. They had security ready for you when you arrived in the specified parking lot. They had a golf cart there to drive you to the inside of the stadium (Cowboys Stadium is huge and this is a Taylor Swift trick) so that you wouldn't have to walk in the heat. Since it was a couple of days after the Manchester concert incident, they had you bring your Global Entry card so that you could bypass the added security everyone was supposed to go through. Then, after their set, they had security come to your seats and escort you to the VIP lounge where you met Bono (again), the Gaines', Kirk Franklin, Lance Armstrong, one of Jerry Jones' children, etc. Then, they gave you a number to text when you were ready to leave so that they could get a golf cart to take you back to your vehicle (which I didn't bother them with).
Now, most people would get pictures, talk about it, etc. But, since that is normal for me, I am accustomed to it and don't think about talking about it. Most people would talk about how cool of a night they had. Yet, I had no intention of ever doing that until GK coincidentally responded to a post with the picture of the Gaines' whom I had met two weeks ago.
A girl was in town for a couple of months training as a flight attendant. I had hung out with her a handful of times. She had asked what I did, but I've grown accustomed to casually avoiding that question without drawing suspicion. I took her to the Isley Brothers concert one evening. She was caught off guard when, after the show, the tour manager came out to introduce herself and asked us to follow her. Ronald and Ernie were both waiting in their dressing rooms for me. After talking to each for about 15 minutes, in which they asked me things showing they knew who I was, they then asked me to join them for the surprise birthday celebration they were having for Ronald's sister-in-law (his wife and her two sisters are their backup singers). She couldn't believe that I hadn't told her who I am/what I do and that Rock & Roll Hall of Famers were excited to meet me. So, I don't go around boasting about these things.
Recently, Herdman posted an Uncle BS video responding to one of my posts talking about my experiences. Why did/does he think it may be bullshit? Because most people who received a Grammy nomination 1) wouldn't be here 2) would have immediately told everyone they knew about it/posted about it previously. Most people who Taylor Swift sends her PJ to pick up and meet her to play golf wouldn't be here. Most people who John Legend texts regularly would act differently than talking shit on a message board to people. Most people who have RIAA certified gold records would boast about them and/or not be here. But, since I don't bring those things up immediately when they happen in a humble brag, he thinks the stories have to be B.S.
So, enjoy your 54' deck. I'll be sure to find a way to humbly boast about the condo in a Boston suburb I may buy just because I think it is a really cool building and want to own a place in it, even though I don't have any need to be in that area. I'll ask if anyone knows how to secure the exposed brick wall on it, polish the wood beams, or if I am legally allowed to fish in the stream that runs through the building since it is part of conservation land. I wouldn't be boasting of course; just asking a question.
