Let’s say there was a cancer vaccine that was supposed to prevent cancer. After 3-4 shots people that had been vaccinated were still getting cancer. Would it still be a good idea to be pushing the vax?

If it were significantly reducing the risk of cancer, and/or significantly reducing the health impact of cancer if you did get it, then yes the shot would still be worthwhile, even if it didn’t work 100% of the time.

Ok. But what if the data shows that those who got the Vax now have a much greater longterm risk for new and emerging types of deadly cancers? Is it still worth it?

What if it made you more susceptible to cancer and also didn't protect you from cancer? What then?
