So not doing a great job means they didn't do it. Got it. The only important thing about the ads is if data was shared between the Trump campaign and Russian intelligence.

Of course, the ad buys are a small part of the story. It's the trolls and propaganda (the actual "fake news") that has always been the real story of influencing opinion. But this writer probably knows that.
