He knows exactly what it does and so does anyone else who isn't a bleater. Nothing but a bone thrown to workers in an attempt to get their votes. Gavin is feeding his bleaters. This is also going to put pressure on employers of skilled laborers who are already making that much or more, to raise wages significantly. What will that do the prices of goods and services? Think those employers are just going to eat the rise of the cost of wages? Exactly. I don't think so either. Just think, if the UAW gets what it wants. Thnik the prices of cars will go down or stay the same? Exactly. I don't think so either.

Gavin is feeding his bleaters for votes: "Wages have gone up, right along with prices!" - Gavin Newsome

You idiots want to tell us how much a mcdonalds big mac burger in california would have to increase in cost to cover that minimum wage increase to $20??

We'll soon find out when its new prices come out, but here are a couple so far. You can bet prices will increase with paying $20 for a unskilled position.

One branch in Darien, Conn., charged as much as $18 for a Big Mac combo meal, which includes medium fries and a medium soft drink.

Big Mac combo will run hungry patrons $13.69 at a McDonald’s in Times Square.

what used to cost my customers 100,000 now cost about 118,000 or so. Wages are certainly a part of that equation.

All costs are passed on to the consumer.

Good!!! It's a shame those food prices are so high in a town that has a median income of $250,000. You lying idiot.

It's not because of the minimum wage. Idiot.

No one is saying that, dimwit. It is definitely part of it though. $15 an hour for minimum wage employees living in Connecticut have done what for them? Sure as hell isn't a living wage. They can't afford the food they're preparing. Fast food jobs are not designed to be career jobs. People need to stop thinking that. Give them $100 an hour and they will continue to be in the same position. Learn a skill and thrive. Flip burgers for a living and you'll always be subsidized by the government (taxpayers) and whining over your pay.

So what has been determined here that Greedtard has stumbled onto is ALL labor costs, hourly and salaried, along with higher taxes to government paid by these workers, contribute to the high costs associated with living in these higher medium income areas.

Thank you again Greed for admitting this. Thats two times in one week we've been able to agree on something.

What's happened here is that phlegmwad is conceding that minimum wage increases have little to do with the costs. He wants you to believe "outrageous" minimum wages have caused the median income of Darien, Conn. to be $250,000 and the average prices of homes to be $1.7 million dollars.

20% to 35% of labor costs affect consumer prices. That's significant. Do you work or are you a dependent?

McDonald's sells more than a burger. The increase in labor costs don't all go to the price of a burger. Point is, increased labor costs are distributed to the consumers. That does not help unskilled laborers have a better life.
