I finally ditched DIRECTV and went to streaming only. I had about every channel known to man before including DIRECTV, Apple+, Prime, HBO Plus, and the Hulu Bundle…yet routinely watched the same few channels. Since I already had Hulu, I just went with the Hulu live bundle. Get all of the ESPN channels, including ESPN+, and then all of the P5 networks. I like not having the equipment out and only having one remote now. I considered Rifle’s recommendation of YouTube, but I primarily just watch sports and news and this gives me everything I’d need. Anyone else have Hulu+? Any issues? I also like not having a contract and can switch if I find something else.

We stuck with Xfinity, but went with streaming it. Got rid of four boxes, and their router (bought our own router which is much better). Also have Paramount Plus (with Showtime), Apple TV, and Prime. There's also a bunch of apps you can have access to watch a bunch of movies, albeit with ads. We got our Xfinity down from $265 to $160 with the changes. We also have our phones through Xfinity, and have unlimited data for $70 per month (two phones and one watch). Hell, when not watching sports or Fox News or the Killer Channels (ID & Oxygen), I probably spend 90% of my other time on youTube.

i cut directv off a couple years+ ago and stream everything. have an app (@mlblack16.) that has everything anybody would want to watch for like $20/month. it buffers bad when anything you want to watch is on which became a major pain in the ass, so i picked up directv stream a couple months ago. i hardly watch any tv at all but the wife and kids do. got the directv stream for the wife and those christmas movies and yellowstone. they have hulu and a couple other apps that keep them happy. i initially cut the cord to save $$ but found out the old adage, happy wife, happy life, means more than saving a few dollars on tv service.

Figure where you live, all you can pick up is one non-stop buffer. We use firesticks on all TVs, and there's some tricks to get rid of that buffering. Watch youTube videos on how to improve firestick, or whatever you rednecks out your way use.

We would but the HOA pays for almost all of ours so there’s no point.I think I would save like $5 a month.

Your HOA pays for your tv? You live in the projects? 🤣🤣 Seriously though, I’ve never heard of that. My HOA’s in the past have went toward the clubhouse, swimming pools, gym, and the golf course…but never for tv. Guessing the fees are nuts in Cali.

I have no clue why it’s set up that way but the HOA here pays for cable and internet. You can pay extra if you want more channels or faster internet but I guess they get a cheaper deal doing everybody as a group. I’ve lived 4 places out here and only the one I’m in now does it that way so I think it’s this HOA being weird and not a CA thing. And no, its a decent place with most of the condos being owner occupied. I mean, we don’t have any luxury vinyl floors or hardwood, but we get by.

I think you meant HUD? Never heard of an HOA paying for your cable and internet.
No it’s an HOA. I mean it’s paid out of the HOA fees so you’re paying for it one way or another but it’s (supposedly) cheaper than if you had to get your own.

Edit: HOA fee is over $400 a month so yeah least they could do is cable and internet. We do have a pool though.

Must be a bitch if they know when you're watching porn on your TV.

I considered Rifle’s recommendation of YouTube,
I've never had YouTube Premium or whatever it is called.

I have had DirecTV Streaming, like wv-fan, for four or five years. I've tried Hulu Live TV or whatever it is called and Fubu TV. I like DirecTV the best. I only use Roku, as the remote and user interface are my preferred ones.

My Florida property HOA does the same. The channel selection sucks (think major channels including local news, ESPN/CNN/HGTV, etc., but nothing like ESPN 2, MTV, BET).

Cable is pretty commonly included in florida communities.

I have YouTube tv and fubo.

The problem I have is that world fishing network is only on fubo and I can’t live without that channel. So I literally pay 85 bucks a month for one edging channel.

I grew up watching Bill Dance fishing show. Must have been on one of the free access channels, because I remember watching when we lived out in the sticks and before we got the old school 8ft dish

YouTube tv premium for me… (shared with other people) and the hulu/Disney/ESPN package for $7/month if you use your Amex card. Plus my set up looks a lot more clean with out cords hanging down from the wall.

Your HOA is set up like a trend that went around in new apartment developments in the early 90s.

They would build a service room to branch all the cable and internet and then negotiate a deal with the cable company. It was another revenue source for them. Since the cable company didn’t have to do 200 installs or chase payments they would cut a good deal to the owner, say if rates were $60 a month then, they would sell it to the owner for $35 per unit, with a minimum of 160 units. The owner would then use cheap cable as a lease perk and include cable for only $50 a month and pocket the other $15 bucks per unit.

I would take a look at your HOA financials and see if they are skimming.

it's not the speed, i'm getting upwards of 70 mbps, which is plenty fast enough to stream. and, we have zero issues with any app but the one. i think the issue resides with the host, they can't handle the traffic they have.

Well that and you have to deal with that hilljack go between. If you complain about buffering he just blames your innerweb service.

Now, the porn selection on there was pretty good.

I have Hulu Live with the ESPN+ bundle and love it. The interface is a little clunky to get used to and sometimes I get annoyed with how slow it loads when you first open it up, but otherwise it’s awesome. One of the things I like best about Hulu Live is how mobile it is. Used it at the beach last summer and at the mountains this winter.

Pretty much
Now I’m not quite as up to date as I once was on such things but by my recollection Brazzers specialized in cheesy stories and big tits. I’ll have to do some research later to see if they now specialize in cuck porn.

How much does that cost?

I believe it's known for white chicks riding black bulls and/or gangbangs.

It's the precise genre Greed is looking for in his choice of porn.

ESPN+ is probably worth having if you're a fan of a college team that can be watched on that outlet, but there's simply no way I can give the woke LeFraud network any more of my money. I give it more than I want through Xfinity.

Yep. Watched just about every Herd bball game this year, mostly thanks to ESPN+.

I have ESPN+ with SlingTV and it works well. I mean, in a sense I'm paying $40 a month for ESPN+, but it is worth it considering how much I use it, especially for English Championship Football.

I thought they were the ones that popularized all the step-sister/mom/etc stuff more than anything.
