A couple tid-bits from Grassie's most recent interview on the Paul Swann Show, thought I'd share outside of the usual Soccer Thread..
-The Vet will be completely wrapped on the inside for the upcoming season. Grassie mentioned how it will give the stadium a professional feel during matches.
-The new scoreboard is most likely coming next season.
-The Big Green will have a BG Member Only tent in the corner of the pitch with a bar where BG members can drink and watch.
-Bleachers are now lined on the other side of the pitch where the team benches used to be. Sitting capacity is now 2,500. I believe it used to be 1,500.
-Grassie mentioned how there are some BIG plans for The Vet over the next 5-10 years. The impression I got from that statement was there's going to be some extreme stadium renovations if not a new stadium entirely by that year 10.
