Nuclear isn't dirty energy.
They are much better than fossil fuel emissions and besides battery and solar panels are being made smaller and to last much longer. Solar panel equipped cars are being started now and is said would have much better battery life and stay charged for longer times. We dont have to settle for self destructing fossil fuels we can invent cleaner and more effecient ways. Dont be stuck in the past with oil companies gouging and dictatating what is right for us and influencing government by backing those that would support them.
Tell that to the Japanese who were bombed during WW2..It has an extremely long half life and you know the effects of radiation.

How about Chernoble (dont know if I spelled that correctly) was that a clean energy facility?. What do people fear most of anything on earth it is nuclear weapons. No I am not a scientist but I do have a brain and it is not damaged like you want to assume.
I have not feared a nuclear weapon one day in my life. I was born in 1970. So, they were around.

I live about 3 miles from a nuke plant. their property ajoins my neighborhood. I go to the lake there all the time.
Drive by it nearly daily.
Unless you want to live like a caveman there is no 100% clean energy. I would say nuke power is about as close as we can get. The battery and solar panel deal are just kicking the can down the road and not practical in all aspects.

You do know that nuclear power plants in the us are passively safe unlike the rbmk reactor that was used in Chernobyl right? Three Mile Island would be a better example and even that wasn’t a huge issue

Nuclear energy, is still a net positive for the environment over coal. I like my chances for a better environment living close to a nuclear plant here in NC, while comparing the environment & coal plants some of my relatives live close to in WV.
They both are not the answer for the future..I see where Florida just detonated and destroyed the last coal fired plant in Florida. Way to go Florida at least you are doing something right.
How is nuclear not an answer for future energy needs? What do you suggest we use when we have peak electrical load during a heatwave in Texas? Or it’s cloudy in New York for a week strait?
For Texas the answer is simple..they need more solar and wind..Summertime is very hot and sunny I know because I have lived there. They do have wind turbines but not nearly enough.As for New York there are power banks now that can store energy if there is not enough sun. New York is already an evironmental mess. Their air isnt worth breathing. They need electrical vehicles badly.
