Iran

I feel this thing has been totally mismanaged. This administration loves to beat their chest and threaten through tweets. Most don't respond well to that kind of "diplomacy".

Also, we're asked to believe/trust an administration whose most consistent trait is lying. Add to that one of the architects of the Iraq debacle is front and center for these Iranian entanglements is deeply troubling.

Finally, we shouldn't twist questioning this administration's enormous void in credibility to "not supporting the troops". The troops would probably appreciate us taking time to get all the "facts" before throwing them in harms way.
are you serious? They bomb a tanker, shoot down our UAS and it is out fault. OKKKK

Would we be here, if we didn't break the agreement? If we didn't threaten our allies not to do business with them? If we would have established a dialogue with them before walking away?

With the sanctions, their choice is to
A. bow down to us.....or
B. attack us.

A country with pride, might choose "B".

President Donald Trump ordered a military strike on Iran late Thursday, but reversed his decision after a plan was already underway, according to sources familiar with the matter. The sources tell ABC News the president’s reason for changing course was unclear, but the reversal was against the advice of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and National Security Adviser John Bolton.

WASHINGTON — President Trump approved military strikes against Iran in retaliation for downing an American surveillance drone, but pulled back from launching them on Thursday night after a day of escalating tensions.

I'll give you a tip, moron. Nothing I've found presents the idea that Trump thought the downing of the drone was unintentional. He insinuates that someone lower on the chain of command did it and that doing so was a mistake. Idiot.
As previously told, if you would read and digest what reputable and honest people (like herdman and myself) type out, you would gain insight and wisdom. In other words, when we invite you to the dinner table, be sure and eat. Wouldn't hurt for you to have a second helping.

maybe we should hand them another pile of cash and a path way to nuclear weapons again and see if that makes them nice.

Summary: extragreen is correct.

I read in an article somewhere that it is very unusual for the military not to ask the newspapers to sit on a story like this, especially if the action is still on the table, which you have to assume it is. The in the air and pull back could very well be calculated as a sort of shot across the bow.

Please don't bother trying to reason with Greed. He's a simpleton who grew up a holler OW and doesn't understand the real world or how any of it works.

He fancies himself a "woke" liberal, but, deep inside, he's still just a redneck from OW.

He posted the articles without commentary. So my comments weren’t an attempt to reason because he never stated his position on it.

They don't tell the newspapers shit when there is going to be an attack. If they do it is mostly false to throw everyone off. Even most people on the mission likely do not know what it is. They do their job and don't know the 30,000 foot level.

My guess this is psychological warfare against the Iranians. At some point some towel l head is going to get one down the stove pipe.

You're just a trumptard simpleton.

More accurate summary: extragreen is a raghead supporting, bernie supporting, democratic socialist. You never answered my question from a month or so back. How does a communist survive in one of the nation's redneckiest counties, out Wayne? Are you living out in the woods like the unibomber, and normal rednecks simply look at you as a freak that strolls into walmart once a week?

My guess is the Isrealis have a covert op going on right now

If we could rid ourself of our dependency on oil, we wouldn’t have to worry about any of this stuff. We wouldn’t need to even be in the area protecting our economy. A large part of terrorism is funded by oil money. We can disagree about global warming. We can talk about nuclear (which I’m for). But we will never solve the problem in the Middle East until we don’t have a reason to be there.

Thanks to Trump and US energy independence the middle east oil states have less leverage.

Trump could do just that and you would STILL complain. You're just an old fart who isn't happy unless he's got something to complain about.

I’d be the happiest person in the world if Trump did that. And old fart? Wanna rassle? :)

That will be hundreds of years away
