I can't pull up the link, but based on viewing the picture, it appears West Virginia is the only state where the University is actually the biggest corporation.
The article says it's not WVU but WVU Hospitals which brought in $1.4 billion in revenue in 2013. They are a not for profit corporation so I'm not sure this is correct.
I would be more interested in number of employees within each state. For example, I am pretty sure UPS has more Kentucky employees than Humana, and Cummins has more Indiana employees than Wellpoint.
