A baseball park is on the bucket list for Marshall University

MU Athletic Director Mike Hamrick has seen several athletic facility projects completed, including Marshall’s $37 million Chris Cline Athletic Complex.
Traveling an hour or more for a “home” game is not the ideal, but Marshall University Athletic Director Mike Hamrick says having the Thundering Herd play baseball in Charleston has been a good experience.
Having its own baseball stadium located near the Marshall University campus remains on his “bucket list,” Hamrick said, adding that he just signed a six-year contract and hopes to accomplish the feat while he sits in the AD post...
